Kick-Ass IT Consultants was founded in January 2000 by Helen Postle after 10 years working in the IT industry.   She started out at Price Waterhouse in 1990 as a Junior IT Technician, back in the days when there were only about 20 "portable" computers in the company and very few desktops. The portables in those days were huge things that looked a bit like portable sewing machines. They had 10Mb hard disk drives, 2 5¼ disk drives, a mono screen and they ran on DOS ver 2. By the time she left in January 1999 she was Head of the IT Department in the Birmingham office and looked after over 400 users, up until May 1999 this was all done with the help of one other person. There are now 12 people in this IT Department!!

The company was developed to offer expertise in application and web site development.  We have experience in a variety of software technologies including, but not limited to: Notes R4.x, Domino R5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, LotusScript, @Formulas, HTML, XML, Java, VB and SQL.
